AS the parent of a Year 11 pupil I read the article relating to Marshland High School’s Ofsted (Citizen May 2) with disbelief.
I have found the science teaching my son has received to be outstanding in all three subjects especially during the last two school years.
The teachers have been dedicated, hardworking and very enthusiastic at all times.
My son’s January GCSE science module results were excellent, entirely due to the first-class teaching he has received from the teachers and all his other subject teachers.
I fail to see how an inspection covering less than three lessons per year group can be a credible statistic.
