THIS is a plea to drivers. We have been receiving numerous complaints from people leaving the North Cambs Hospital in Wisbech who are unable to walk on the pavement due to increasing numbers of cars parked on the pavement opposite Trinity Surgery and the chemist.
I know it’s mostly short term as people either nip in or are waiting for another but, it makes it impossible for wheelchair users, mothers with prams and most recently a blind person who needed guidance around a vehicle.
All of these people had to go into the road as the pavement was blocked. Could all drivers please have some consideration and refrain from parking on the pavement? Remember that it is a criminal offence.
