FOR at least a decade motorists have been held to ransom by clampers and other parking enforcers.
I won’t rehearse the complaints because we all know what I am referring to.
Local councils, the last government and some businesses have allowed people to extort money from motorists for minor offences.
I for one won’t be visiting Asda any more. I hope other people will want to protest in the same way in support of the reader who was recently fined (Citizen December 21).
Never forget that whenever we spend money in a shop we are doing the shop a favour - it’s not the other way round as some shops seem to think.
If a shop has no customers it goes bust. We can always shop elsewhere.
