ON Friday we have our refuse collected in bags, one week black, next recycling.
On November 11 the collectors had been instructed to reverse down Nene Parade at March.
They had been told it was instructions from the police and others and they faced discipline if they were caught not reversing and could face prosecution.
Nene Parade is a narrow street and we have had problems with traffic for years, but not the refuse collectors.
It seems strange that cars, lorries, delivery vans, builders etc are allowed in the Parade ‘willy nilly’ so to speak, driving fast and turning where they can, and nothing is said.
Why pick at the refuse collectors?
