Fenland stock car drivers in King's Lynn action this weekend
Following a busy schedule there was no Stock Car or Banger Racing at King’s Lynn last weekend.
Action returns this weekend with a double header – the F1 Stock Cars, Unlimited Banger War of the Worlds and BriSCA MiniStox on Saturday (5pm), followed by the 2L Bangers, Micro Bangers, Unlimited Lady Bangers and Junior Bangers on Sunday (1pm).
Local interest on Saturday will centre upon the Unlimited Bangers and BriSCA MiniStox.
Dan Clarke leads the Bad Boys into action in the Unlimited Banger War of the Worlds where he will be joined by Mark Freeman who has not made an appearance in the Unlimited Bangers for a few years.
James Licquorice will once again be on loan to the Dover Boys – Joe Geeves will also be in action for this team.
Following her final victory last time out at King’s Lynn in the BriSCA MiniStox, Brooke Kitson will be looking for another good set of results but will find things a bit tougher this time around after being upgraded to the A Grade ‘Blue Roof,’ which means she will have to start further towards the back of the grid.
Brad Bartram is another moving up the grades, this time in the National Bangers, and he has a first start from superstar on Sunday – the elite grade in the sport following some fantastic results.
Brad will have a busy day as he races in both the Micro and the 2L Bangers – as well as being Brad’s appearance from Superstar it will also be his first meeting in the 2L Bangers as he looks to cement his position in the superstar grade. He will be joined with James Licquorice in the 2L Bangers and James’s brother Jack in the Micro Bangers.
The Unlimited Lady Bangers will see Danielle Ellis, Jodie Grief and Carly Geeves in action while Jade Ellis and Katelyn Parrin will both be racing from the yellow grade in the Junior Bangers for the first time after being upgraded this month.
They will be joined in the Juniors by Rhys Parrin, Levi Murkin and Riley Crowson.
