Fenland drivers to battle it out as 2024 two-litre Banger World Final takes place at King’s Lynn
Current National Points leader Brad Bartram will have his best chance of winning his first title in National Bangers when the 2024 2L Banger World Final takes place at King’s Lynn on Saturday (5pm).
Bartram has enjoyed a great qualifying campaign for the premier race of the season for the 2L banger class and qualified for the main race of the season with ease.
He is a proven race winner in the class and will be one of the favourites come Saturday night.
Brad is not the only local driver in the big race with James Licquorice – enjoying the season of his career so far in the national bangers – by winning the 2L banger entertainer points.
Fenland ace Licquorice is one of the top all-rounders in the sport and can race by matching pace with the quickest as well as crashing with the hardest. James could easily have a big say in this one come Saturday night.
Racing also comes from the 2L stock cars and the junior bangers.
Tommy Parrin will be in action in the 2L stock cars and he will be looking to continue the great form he has recently shown at King’s Lynn.
Joining him will be Lee Farrell who has raced Robins, bangers and 1300 stock cars in the past but has not been on track for many years and is a hire car for a go in a formula he has always wanted to be in and he will be using the occasion to be sponsored and raise money for Dementia UK.
The junior banger entry will include Levi Murkin who is looking like being the winner of the 2024 National Points with Taylor Morton, Lincoln Douglas and Kiean Mays also set to be in action.
All four drivers will have a great chance of being amongst the silverware come Saturday.
