Bright time for Fenland runner Hammond

On what turned out to be the hottest day of the year so far, Fenland Running Club member Richard Hammond when visiting his home town of Brighton raced in a field of over 2,000 runners at the Worthing 10K. He finished a highly respectable 52nd in a time of 38:50 and a MV40 category position of 8th.

Ian and Sally King and Stephen Brunton were at the Woodhall Spa Community Road Race 10K on a flat course through Lincolnshire countryside. Out of over 1,000, Ian was 344th in a time of 50:06, Stephen was 786th in 1:03:06 and Sally was 985th in 1:17:22.
