Lilies six points ahead of main rivals Over Sports who have two games in hand

Cambs League Kershaw Senior A leaders Chatteris Town kept in the title hunt with a 3-0 away success at Huntingdon United.

Goals came from Jack Saunders, Gary Smith (his 27th of the season) and sub Jermaine Watson at Sapley Park for the Lilies, who are five points ahead of Orwell and six ahead of main rivals Over Sports, who have two games in hand.

On Saturday if March Reserves beat Lakenheath Reserves, and other results go the Hares’ way, they’ll take a big step towards the Senior B title.

A Ricky Melton brace ensured Wisbech St Mary Reserves beat Sawston Rovers 2-1.

Liam Brady and Josh Brittin were among the scorers as Chatteris Reserves defeated Mepal in Mead Plant & Grab 1B.
