The weekend saw Cambridgeshire travel to Hampshire in a Premier Division Inter-County re-arranged darts match which was a very important end-of-year fixture as both teams started the weekend in the bottom two.

Saturday saw the Ladies B team off to a good start with a 4-2 win and this was followed by a 6-6 draw for the Men’s B team that gave Cambs a 10-8 lead overnight going into Sunday’s A team matches.

Sunday didn’t start so well as the Ladies A lost 2-4 to put the overall score level again at 12-12 but the Men’s A won 7-5 to grab the vital bonus points.

This win has now seen Cambs climb out of the bottom two relegation places.
