Rivals lose game in hand with two matches remaining and next Lilies host second-from-bottom Fulbourn Institute Reserves

Over Sports lost their tough trip to fourth-spot Gamlingay United 2-0 at Stocks Lane so it leaves them level on points with Chatteris Town at the top of Cambs League Kershaw Senior A.

This was Over’s game in hand over the inactive Lilies and the two sides have just two matches remaining.

On Saturday Chatteris Town host second-from-bottom Fulbourn Institute Reserves while Over head to mid-table Milton.

Chatteris need to finish above their title rivals on points as Over are 18 goals better-off than the Lilies.

In Senior B, Sean White hit a hat-trick for leaders March Town United Reserves in their 3-1 victory at Thaxted Rangers. Title favouritesAFC Barley Mow are just a point behind March with six games in hand.

Charlie Waite netted in a 2-1 loss for Wisbech St Mary Reserves, who had Harley Hollis and Dean Jimson sent off, at CUP Res.
