Clark takes high Road at Wisbech pigeon racing club Wisbech & District South Road FC'The 'Brown Ridge' racing lofts owned by Kev Clark of Wisbech led the field of 550 birds in the clubs second Bovingdon race, His bird; Joe's Boy, bred by Mick Plowman out of his Joe Sawyckyj long distance bloodlines covered the 72 mile course on a speed of 47 mph to win the Bovingdon (2) cup. Hot on its tail was a Busschaert x Andre Van Bruaene hen: A gift bird from Mick Plowman out of his top stud bird on a speed of 1,380.8 ypm. In 3rd place was the consistent Clarkson lofts of Steve Surrey with a bird of the M Vijkn Dutch bloodlines on a speed of 1,379.8. ypm Surrey also takes 5th spot with a Lambrecht on a speed of 1,379.3. Splitting these up for 4th spot was the Walsoken based 'Black Bear Lodge lofts' of Mick & Daley Godfrey with a bird of their Leo Van Rinj bloodline on a speed of 1,379.5. ypm. They also take the final diploma with a Roland Janssen on a speed of 1,378 ypm . Other fanciers first bird: Shaun & Lisa Bowles (Guyhirn) 1,372.9 ypm.
