Club of the Year serves up open day at Chatteris

Chatteris St Peter’s Tennis Club attended an awards evening at Emmanuel College in Cambridge, where they were presented with the plaque for Aegon British Tennis Awards 2016 Club of the Year for Cambridgeshire.

This latest award sets them up for the new season, which kicks off with a free to the public Open Day on Sunday, April 2 at the club, starting at 2pm.

Visitors will be provided with equipment and members will be on hand to offer assistance if required. In addition, light refreshments will be available.

Club chairman Simon Grainger said, “Our Spring Open Day allows us the chance to share our club with our entire community, enabling visitors the opportunity to enjoy free tennis for all, regardless of age or ability.”
