Wisbech Table Tennis Club will make a return at their new venue next month

The generosity of Bob and Mark Littlechild means table tennis in Wisbech will be back for the new season.

Wisbech Table Tennis Club, previously known as The Wisbech & District Table Tennis Association, have been granted access to the pairs' disused barn to use as their new facilities.

Under the guidance of local builder John Blyth, a number of volunteers have been hard at work refurbishing the barn.

This was made possible by a generous £5,000 grant from the Hudson Foundation, a donation from the Wisbech Lions of £300 and a donation of £100 from the club's Life President George Norman.

The club will now continue to support Fenland Active with their 50+ programme on Mondays and Fridays, and will hold their own sessions on Saturdays afternoons.

Junior coaching will be available on Saturday mornings. Memberships cost £10 per annum for seniors and just £5 for juniors.
