Chatteris Tennis Club members battled each other in Hunts & Peterborough League
Chatteris Tennis Club played out their 'home derby' as two of their own men's teams went head to head.
The club's 'B' and 'C' doubles teams rallied at the Hunts & Peterborough League tournament, with the former coming out on top with a 7-1 victory.
All eight players produced some fast and exhilarating tennis, and they were cheered on from the side by some of the club's other members.
The club currently consists of three men's teams and one ladies' team, all of whom have been impressing with their recent results.
Simon Grainger, the club's chairman, is very happy with the recent run of form.
He said: "Our teams are playing very well again this year, enjoying some recent good wins including 7-1 against St Neots and 8-0 against Cottenham.
"We are gaining more consistency and strength as the season progresses."
With Covid-19 restrictions set to be lifted later this month, the club is looking forward to resuming its events calender - this will include home tournaments, barbecues and social afternoons.
There is currently a discount on all memberships, while coaching is available for players of all levels.
