The game was originally due to be played at Gorefield, but was reversed after the pitch was deemed unfit.
Early on Ashton Hodgson got the last touch on a Callum Summers long through ball, before Jonny Allen netted in his 100th appearance.
A determined Wimblington perhaps should have had a penalty midway through the half, but were given a free kick just outside the box.
After some stern words at half-time Upwell came out of the traps. On target were Curtis Oldroyd, Summers, and quick goals from Hodgson and Toby Freear.
Upwell manager Karl Schultz said: “It’s great to see two current players being inducted into our centenary club. Both Matthew Thomas and Jonny Allen have now reached this milestone. Their commitment and desire to play is a real credit.”
Upwell Reserves vs Marchester was postponed due to an unfit pitch.
