March back with a bang




March Town began their much delayed 2020 season with an impressive five wicket away win against Cambridge 2nd XI at Caldecote on Saturday.

In the new style 40 overs a side Whitings League with a pink ball, March cruised to victory with nearly five overs to spare.

With recreational cricket only getting the go ahead to play on July 11, captain Andrew Wright explained what it was like playing under the new regulations: “It reminded me of playing for the Saturday 4th XI down at the Neale Wade, turning up changed.
