Parson Drove make several signings ahead of the new Thurlow Nunn League season

Parson Drove have added several new faces to their playing squad for the coming season - and more arrivals are expected in the next few days.

Midfielders Issac Kyereme, Jack Kent, Modoulamin Gaye and Lewis Lilley, who can also play as a centre-half, defender Liam Bello Matthews and striker Harleigh Camfield have all signed for the Thurlow Nunn League First Division North side.

Manager Arran Duke said: "These are all young, talented additions making their first step into football at this level but all can show that they are ready for this level.

"We will still be recruiting over the next week or so as we look to freshen up the side after several last season's squad have joined clubs further up the ladder after a good season with us last year.

"We see this as a positive for how the club is doing things and allowing younger players to play this level."

Christopher Brazil, Callum Brown, Luke Crombie, Tyran Stewart, Byron Adiado, Macy Jackson, Bradley Easey have all committed from last season.

Duke added: "Eight lads from last season have now signed on and these include lads who gained valuable experience last season and will continue their development.

"We have some of the more experienced lads returning who missed a large chunk of last season through injury so everything is very positive."

Tonight, Drove continue their pre-season preparations with a trip to Gayton United.
