March Town remain in third place in the United Counties Premier South after a 1-1 draw at fourth-place Daventry. The Hares, who had Florian Guimdo Tsaguim sent off for a controversial second yellow after 55 minutes, led 1-0 at the break after a Dan Cotton goal but conceded in the final minute.
They entertain mid-table Northampton Sileby Rangers on Saturday.
Wisbech Town were beaten 5-2 at Newark Town. Wisbech conceded on the stroke of half time but Elliot Foster’s sixth of the season made it 1-1 seconds after the restart.
The home side scored twice around the hour mark to make it 3-1 but Toby Allen’s fourth of the campaign from the penalty spot brought the score back to 3-2. However, goals in the 68th and 80th minutes sealed their fate.
