Hares move up three places in league after Churchyard strike

The Hares moved up three places in the league to fourth after beating Riverside Ladies 3-0.

Although March Town were having the majority of the possession, it took 25 minutes for them to net the first goal.

Emma Searle hit a shot into the far corner; and on the stroke of half-time, Kayleigh Churchyard hit a rasping shot after good work from Livvi Hodges.

The Hares turned the screws in the second half but only got one more goal – an excellent shot from Emma Frost.

Player of the match was defender Claire Newton.
