Leverington Three Counties Running Club’s Colin Apps and Melvin Green run London Vitality 10k

Three Counties Running Club’s Colin Apps and Melvin Green ran the London Vitality 10k Race.

Melvin was running for The Teenage Cancer Trust and raised £469, finishing in 1:02:36.

Colin had a fantastic run coming back from injury and, finding his fast running feet again, finished in 48:41 on bank holiday Monday.

Junior Parkrun saw six club members amongst the 34-runner field. Maisie Macdonald was first home for the club in 6th place in 9:05; followed by Keira Fines 10:26, Isaac Western 10:50, Jake Trundle 11:09, Stephanie Harbord 11:20 and Callum Bates 14:09.

Oliver Knott had a fantastic Junior Parkrun at King’s Lynn. This week Oliver ran on his own and didn’t have his dad slowing him down and finished with a fantastic PB of 12:20.
