Three Counties members travel to Spain for Malaga half marathon

The Malaga Half Marathon, in Spain, was the place to be for Three Counties Running Club members James Stace and Moira Macdonald.

It welcomes runners to a scenic and fast course through the historic and coastal areas of Málaga.

Known for its almost flat elevation with only a seven-metre difference, it provides an ideal opportunity for personal bests.

After three weeks of rain, the weather was perfect for a half marathon. There were some clouds, but the sun poked its head out now and again, and the temperature was in the midteens.

Macdonald and Stace ran together to finish with a time of 02:34:30.

Sophie Kirtley took part in the Lincoln 10k on a warm sunny day.

Competitors take in Lincoln's most iconic sights, including the Roman Walls, Lincoln Cathedral, and the stunning gardens around the city.

Kirtley finished with a PB of 1:10:43.
