At the weekend five elite performers from Fenland Flyers set off for Burgess Hill in West Sussex to compete in the first qualifying round of the National Trampoline League 2015.

For the youngest performer, Alana Pritchard, this was her first experience of national competition.

After a shaky and nervous warm-up she held her nerve and came fifth in the 9-10 year old category.

Emma Fountain has struggled with training for this competition due to injury while Emma Shearer has to travel to and from Greenwich University.

Both girls performed brilliantly and came home with silver medals in their age group.

Jasmine Haile-Pope competed in the 15-16 year old and Lucy Saunders also competed in the 17-18 year and both came a respectable 16th.

Fenland Flyers Trampoline Club is based at Thomas Clarkson Academy at Wisbech, offering trampoline classes for all ages and abilities.
