Wisbech and March Mark Farnham Schools of Tae Kwon-Do medals in Welsh Championships at Cardiff

This event was held at Cardiff University, which is a massive arena, and 18 students from the Mark Farnham Schools of Tae Kwon-Do took part – including pattern, sparring, destruction, power test and team sparring events.

Some 28 fighting areas ran throughout the day, with over 1,000 competitors and 300 officials.

The school stated: “To win any award at this event is a very serious achievement, so very well done to the students who achieved placings.

“We are now working towards many other championships to be held over the next few months.”

Results, Wisbech: Charlotte Beck Girls Blue Belt Sparring 3rd & Team Sparring 3rd; Alexandra Mlynek Girls Green Belt Sparring 2nd. March: Tegan Mitchell Girls Red Belt Sparring 3rd & Team Sparring 3rd; Heidi Wilkes Girls Yellow Belt Sparring 2nd & Team Sparring 1st.
