Wisbech Town FC manager Seb Hayes said Sam Murphy could be coming back to the club as the Fenmen boss prepares for next weekend's home game.

Wisbech will entertain Chasetown on Saturday in the BetVictor NPL South East Division.

Speaking after Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Loughborough Dynamo, which saw Sanders sent off and faces a three-match ban, Hayes said: "I've got to shuffle the pack again.

"Hopefully we can get Sam Murphy over the line and have Danny Setchell back. Hopefully at home we can play like we did against Sheffield as a manager I can get a break, and that we can nick something and get the three points.

"I hope we keep going like we did in the second half (of Loughborough) and hopefully things will change.

"A lot of teams in our area are fighting for the same players.

"Charley Sanders is the best we can get in this catchment area which is not a complaint about the budget: it is what it is."
