Wisbech Town boss Seb Hayes laments losing another player at Sutton Coldfield in the Northern Premier League south east division with Conor Green injured
Wisbech Town boss Seb Hayes lamented that he is not getting the breaks after losing yet another player to injury.
The Fenmen were away at Sutton Coldfield in the Northern Premier League south east division, went down 2-0 and lost Conor Green to a broken ankle.
Beckham Kennelly, who has only returned from a long spell on the sidelines, could not play due to the Sutton Coldfield surface being a 3G pitch.
Afterwards Hayes said: "As a manager I'm not getting the breaks at all.
"Being without Beckham is a factor.
"Sam (Spencer) shouldn't have played. He was in hospital on Friday night and is on tablets.
"We lost Conor in the first ten minutes of the game. Every single week we're getting a knock."
Press officer Spencer Larham, who confirmed it was a leg break, said of Green's injury: "I've watched the video of the incident and it seems innocuous. It's not a bad tackle and his leg seems to catch in the surface."
