Sophia Stanton and Tracey Kym Gooch of the Wisbech & Kings Lynn Tang Soo Do martial arts club travelled to North Carolina in the USA to represent Great Britain at the World Championships.

Sophia won two golds and a silver in her three categories.

Tracey came home with three bronze trophies, meaning the pair join the ranks of world champions at the club along with their instructor Master Donna Harvey and fellow student Nakita Davies - who also won a few years ago.

The Great Britain team came home with a staggering 134 trophies, three division champion cups and victories in the Senior Male and Female world championship cups.

The hard work has already started again for Sophia and Tracey, who are now preparing bids to represent Team GB again through national, regional and European competitions.

The club trains on a Monday evening at Lynn Sport and on a Thursday evening at Walton Highway Village club, Wisbech.
