March Town FC reserve boss Rob Chapman leaves post

By Pete Woodhouse

March Town FC have made a change to their management structure which has resulted in reserve boss Rob Chapman leaving his post.

Hares manager Brett Whaley said: “I would like to thank Rob Chapman for all his hard work and success last season.

“He guided the reserve team to promotion, which was a fantastic achievement. After assessing the season I feel there is a need to change direction below the first team, where development of players is critical.

“Once we had added the A team to the adult set-up it was clear that we needed to have more coaches throughout the club, and move away from having managers working independently across the teams.

“As a result, I have made the decision to change management teams throughout the club, including the reserves. I’d like to wish Rob all the best for the future and hope that he would like to remain within the club in some capacity.”
