Thorney 0, WSM 3

Saints started their first game of the New Year with a good overall performance to keep their winning run going.

After having most of the play in the first half, Saints had to wait until 10 minutes before half-time for Alistair Morgan to open the scoring with a well taken goal.

The second half continued in the same way with Saints having most of the play and saw Reagan Brown scoring from the penalty spot and Ross Beart scoring with a fine lob over the Thorney keeper to put St Mary’s top of the league for the first time this season.

WSM Yellow 5, Thorpe Wood 0

Saints came out attacking from the start but were unable to find the back of the net until just before half-time when good link up play resulted in a goal from Seb Ziabka assisted by Kieran Symons.

The second half saw Saints dominate play with an overpowering midfield and solid defence which led to further goals from Ziabka, Symons 2 and a final goal from George Napier (mom).

Leverington 13, Parkside 1

This was Leverington’s first game back since the Christmas break and it showed as they started slowly, and conceded an early goal.

Leverington then started to pass the ball well and created the chances to win the game. B Carmen, J Towson and L Savage all scored four goals with L Dennis completing the scoring. A fine display earned L Stearne (mom).

Hungate Greens 10, Denver 0
