MARCH Town boss Jamie Weston may call up brother Adam for next Monday’s Ridgeons Division One home game against Godmanchester Rovers at the GER (3pm).

The midfield player has recently signed for UCL side Deeping Rangers after a spell at Stamford, but has also put his signature to a Ridgeons League form for March.

Adam Weston did have a spell with the Hares three years ago when Brett Whaley was in charger and played alongside Luke Pepper in the middle of the park.

“Deeping do not have a game on Monday so it would be good to have Adam along for the game as Denny Escorcio will still be on holiday,” said the March manager.

“We drew 2-2 with Godmanchester earlier in the season after we had dominated most of the game and found ourselves 2-1 down with a couple of minutes to go. If we are at our best I would expect us to win.

“We will train on Thursday but the lads are pretty fit bunch so I do not expect the break from action to have hit them too badly. It will be good just to start playing again.

“We need to get a run going and if we can win our games in hand we would be in the top four in the table.”
