Chance to WIN tickets

FENLAND Citizen are sponsoring Wisbech Town’s prestigious FA Vase fourth-round tie against Dunston UTS on Saturday, January 21 at the Elgood’s Fenland Stadium and one lucky family can win free tickets to the game and a signed football by the Fenmen.

It is the biggest game of the season so far for Steve Appleby’s team and he feels Wisbech have a good chance to go all the way to a Wembley final in the competition.

The Fenmen have gone close twice to reaching an FA Vase final before when they were beaten semi-finalists in the 1984-85 and 1985-86 seasons.

Wisbech will face a tough task against Northern League side Dunston, where former England star Paul Gascoigne was born, as they are riding high in the table at present.

The lucky winners of our competition will receive two adult and two childrens tickets for the game and will also enjoy refreshments before the tie and at half-time. They will also be presented with a ball signed by the Wisbech players.

To win the competition all you have to do is answer this simple question.

Who is the manager of Wisbech Town?

Put your answer on the back of a sealed envelope or postcard, along with your name, address and a daytime telephone number, and send it – marked VASE COMPETITION – to the Citizen at 11 Union Street, Wisbech PE13 1DN.

Closing date is 10am on Monday, January 16, 2012.
