Chatteris appoint new boss

OZZIE Mintus has been named as the Chatteris manager for next season.

Mintus is a former Ely City Reserves and Histon Reserves manager and watched the Lillies beat Fulbourn last Saturday.

Paul Crosby, who has a UEFA B coaching badge and has been coaching in the Caribbean, is also to help Steve Bright to run the club’s reserves team before taking over in the future.

Bright, the club’s chairman said: “I am really delighted to have appointed two people with very good experience to the club. Ozzie Mintus has plenty of experience at our level. Paul Crosby will hep me initially before taking over the reserves.

“I thought we would struggle to attract people but we had two very good candidates apply in two days and it is onward and upwards for the club.”
