Chatteris 1, Papworth 0

Chatteris won the KO Cup for the first-ever time after a tight final in front of well over 200 people at Cambridge Stadium on Sunday.

Encouraged by well over 100 Fenland supporters who had travelled on coaches, Chatteris started the brighter. A Jackson corner was met by a firm Frankie Ransome header which just went over. Jackson drilled a low shot which was well saved.

In the second half Beckett fired well over. On 57 minutes as he was receiving a throw-in Ransome was pushed in the back for a penalty. Josh Joyce made no mistake with a very firm shot

Captain Ransome became the first-ever Chatteris skipper to lift this trophy in its 35-year history.
