Wisbech Town Football Club is holding a family fun day this Sunday at the Elgood’s Fenland Stadium starting at 11am.
There are several attractions with face-painting, stalls, raffles and an inflatable target goal with a speed gun. The day starts with a friendly football match between Wisbech Town Acorns and the Wisbech Town PDC under 18 teams, kick-off 11.15am. At half time, there is an official opening by Wisbech Town striker, Chris Bacon, who was voted last season’s supporters’ player of the year.
The main focus of the day is the Denis Harris ‘Goalbound’ memorial football match between Wisbech Town Legends and a team of supporters (2pm). The winners are presented with a trophy by members of the Harris family.
Thundercats Cheerleaders will give a display and there is also a beat the keeper competition. Soft drinks and hot food is available. Entry is free so come and enjoy a great day.
