Wisbech vice chairman Dave “Snips” Parsons has confirmed that the club will again be putting in for promotion from the Thurlow Nunn League before the deadline next month.
He said: “We have carried out all the work needed to meet the requirements and this has included 51 extra seats behind one of the goals.
“As long as we were well placed in the league it was always the intention to seek promotion at this stage.”
Parsons, along with manager Steve Appleby, also reconfirmed that it was the club’s intention to run a reserve side again next season.
Appleby said: “It was not that we did not want a reserve side this season, but it was just the circumstances dictated that when we lost our managers and had a shortage of players.”
Mark Norris and Max Mattless are to take over the running of the club’s under 18 team later this month.
