Hancock’s the hero

Wis St Mary Vets 3,

Wisbech Town Vets 3

WISBECH manager Martin Pettit was overjoyed with the results due to missing key players including keeper Justin Cross.

MoM Robert Hancock took the gloves and his display was outstanding making at least nine saves to give Town a share of the points.

Kevin Leggett’s pass found Richard Cave to coolly slot home a Town equaliser.

Leggett added a penalty, but St Mary then took the lead 3-2. In the 88th minute Conrad Matthews got on to a mistake from St Mary’s defence and levelled for a draw.
