Hares want home run

March Town manager Paul Crosbie is trying to arrest his side’s dismal home form which will be vital in getting a result on Easter Monday in their derby with visitors Downham Town.

Defender Jake Ogden returns from suspension, while midfielder Joe Gallagher misses out (work).

The Hares have no weekend game.

Last night (Tuesday) they were away to tenth-placed Swaffham Town when defender Michael Anker is due to return.

Defender Max Mattless (suspended) misses both games.

Defender Ben Lemmon passed a fitness test on his hamstring and would have played on Saturday in the Thurlow Nunn League Division One game at Ipswich Wanderers which fell victim to the snow.

March could do a quick double over Downham, who are immediately below 12th place March, but Crosbie said: “Downham will be back fired up as they believe they at least merited a point last week.

“If you had said at the start of the season we would pick up 20 points on the road out of 39 then I would have grabbed it.

“If you told me we would pick up eight points at home then I would have been mortified. The home form has been terrible.

“We have got a few games at home to rectify that and make it look somewhat respectable.”
