Striker Tom James has come back to the Fenmen.
James, who went out to Australia last season, has returned to these shores and Wisbech are waiting for international clearance.
Manager Dick Creasey said: “He’s back from Australia.
“We didn’t sign him until Saturday but did put forms in for international clearance two weeks ago.
“We’ve still not got it cleared, it’s a basic sit-and-wait job. We are dealing with the FA and they are dealing with theAustralian FA.
“It’s a boost as he scored a lot of goals last season, and Tom adds a different dimension with his pace.
“He’s played a little bit over there. I wouldn’t say he’s match-fit but Tom is a naturally fit lad.”
