Keeper Bishop gets first goal to seal win

Wells 0, Hungate 14

After a month of no games Greens went to a cold, windswept Wells and served up a festive treat of goals.

Despite the long period without a game the entire team played well and showed why they are unbeaten this season.

Jay Rout led the scoring with five goals with others coming from Jack Dida 3, Aaron Buckley 2, with Thomas Skuse, Travis Stappleton and Lewis Jackson on target.

Also scoring his first goal of the season was usual keeper Alex Bishop to round off a great year for the team.

WSM 0, Estover Park 8

Wisbech St Mary had been hit by illness and only had eight players and Park sportingly agreed to drop to eight players also.

Park were much the stronger team on this occasion creating many chances through excellent passing and movement.

Goals came from Amy Newell 2, Danni Green, Fran Plitsch 2 and a excellent hat-trick from Erin Powell.

Credit to the Park defenders and keeper for a battling display; also to the WSM players for giving their all. Lizzi Jackson (mom) for bossing the defence.
