Keeper scores for Hungate

Reffley 2, Hungate Greens 2

Greens travelled to top of the table Reffley and were very unlucky not to come away with all three points.

Goalkeeper Alex Bishop produced some top drawer saves after Lewis Jackson opened the scoring for Greens.

Bishop then got on the scoresheet from a huge goal-kick that hit the back of the net after one bounce. It took a big deflected shot to draw Reffley level. Thomas Skuse picked up the man of the match award.

March Rangers 6,

Parkside Athletic 3

March played superb football to reach half-time in a commanding position at 4-1.

Parkside produced a spirited second half performance but Rangers showed plenty of character.

Goals were scored by Fyn Smith (3), Blake Cowley, Harrison Deighton and Kyle Liddy. Special mention to Tyler Smith who was MoM.

Thorney Colts 3,

March SS Reds 2

In an evenly contested match MSS succumbed to a last kick of the match goal.

Two goals from Duke Higham, the second a brilliantly executed free kick, and a MoM performance from Chaz Thurlby who was outstanding in a central midfield role, should have been enough to secure the Reds’ first victory of the season but if they continue to play as they did this will surely come very soon.

Terrington 0, Hungate 7

Another good display, great teamwork and Hungate passed the ball well.

Highlights were a hat-trick for Harry Robinson and well earned MoM for Aedan Holland with his brace.
