Park bow out in semi

Estover Park 2,

Holbeach 4

Estover, the only non-top division side to have gotten this far, bowed out of the cup in the semi-finals.

Estover levelled before half-time when Garrison Asher rounded the goalkeeper to tap into an empty net. Estover took the lead early in the second half when Callum McFadden controlled a cross in mid-air and volleyed in.

Holbeach’s reply was immediate and the game gradually slipped away from Estover as the wind picked up.

MoM: Brandon Pearce.

Feltwell 1,

Hungate Greens 4

Both sides played some of the best football seen this season, but it was Hungate’s all round team effort that won the game.

A great header from Thomas Fender, followed by an impressive Freddie Collison hat-trick, gave Greens their goals.

Hard work and sublime passing earned Lewis Forth the man of the match award.

Hungate 5,

Clenchwarton 0

Hungate got the job done in testing conditions. Highlights were Harry Robinson’s hat-trick and MoM Freddie Broomfield who was solid in defence.
