Quick start boosts Park

Estover Park 7,

Terrington Tigers 3

Park started quickly with Zoe Birch and Emma Searle scoring early on and then Fern Paterson added a third. Tigers pulled one back before half-time.

In the second half, Birch scored again from close range and Paterson (PoM) completed an excellent hat-trick.

Tigers got two more goals before keeper Sydney Davis came on to complete the scoreline. Park are up to second place in the Fenland Youth League.

Wisbech St Mary 0, Alconbury 1

Saints continue to show excellent team work, but need to start converting opportunities in front of goal.

Alconbury scored the winner in the last minutes of the game. A spirited display from both teams, in an entertaining game.

Chatteris 0, Histon 0

Chatteris dominated the early play with Teonie Peyton working hard up front and Lehanna Turner getting to the ball first, and her passing was great.

Faith Shepherd’s early shot just went wide and in the end neither side could find the net.

Great draw for Chatteris and well done Histon as this was another great game to watch.

Cambridge 4, Estover Park 1

Estover started slowly against the league leaders Cambridge who scored three goals before half-time.

In the second half Estover came out fighting and stopped Cambridge playing before they scored their fourth goal of the game. Holly Patrick scored for Estover. Jordan Johns (PoM) had a good game in defence.
