Tigers are second best

Chatteris Tigers 2, Littleport 6

Papworth had already clinched the Cambs Colts under 16 title and runners-up Tigers did little more than go through the motions on Sunday.

Littleport took the lead with a penalty and Chatteris responded with an own goal.

Littleport regained the lead before half-time and early in the second half scored three goals through errors.

Frankie Ransome finally forced one home for his 25th of the season but Littleport had one more sting in the tail.

Mitch Dawson was named man of the match and Chatteris finish the season runners up in the league and cup winners.

Saffron Walden 3,

Chatteris White 4

Chatteris had already won the Cambs Colts under 15 league title but threatened to lose this last match in the first half when trailing 3-0.

The second half was a different story with lovely passing play, good defending and goals from Asa Revell, and Charlie Pitt 2.

The winning goal was scored by the goalkeeper Matthijs Nooteboom, playing on the pitch in the second half.

They finished with 20 wins, three defeats, and one draw.
