March USC darts player Claire Brookin won three gold medals at the World Darts Federation World Cup in Turkey.
She is pictured with chairman of Cambridgeshire Darts, Peter Melton, who was in the position of team manager of England.
Brookin is a Cambridgeshire and England player who features for Cambs and March USC in the Ladies Super League.
She also plays for the Bull Newborough, near Peterborough, in the Men’s Super League. She lives at Lutton, near Long Sutton.
Brookin was in the England Ladies team alongside Lisa Ashton, Deta Hedman and Fallon Sherrock.
She returned home with the trio of golds as England won the overall World Cup title, the ladies team event and Brookin partnered Ashton (current Lakeside World Champion) to win the Ladies Pairs over their other two teammates.
The England men (Scott Mitchell, Glen Durrant, Jamie Hughes and Mark McGeeney) also won the overall Men’s World Cup. As manager of both teams Melton, who hails from Chatteris, came home with two gold medals.
A total of 36 countries took part in Turkey.
