On Sunday, the Frostbite Friendly League race was at Hinchingbrooke Country Park, outside Huntingdon, writes Roger Kay.
Overnight rain failed to make the 5-mile course too muddy for the 412 runners from 16 local clubs.
Sixteen Fenland Running Club members took part and the team score on the day of 12th maintained 12th position overall after three races.
First male home for FRC was Sean Connolly in 31st place in a time of 31:27.
Completing a husband/wife double, Ellen Connolly was first lady home in 167th place. Grahame Peacock volunteered as a marshal and was involved with managing the finish tunnel for both the junior and senior races.

Sarah Gauvin and son Henry were competing in the third of six Ryston Runners Athletic Club Open Cross Country Grand-Prix Series at Shouldham Warren.
Times: U9 800m dash, Henry Pittock 03:30 and finished 5th out of 10. Senior 6.5K, Sarah was 3rd in her age category MW45-49, 33:14.
