Chatteris Town striker Craig Gillies has gone to King’s Lynn Town Reserves.

The Norfolk side are chasing promotion from Thurlow Nunn League First Division One and announced the signing at the end of last week.

Of Chatteris’s 36 Kershaw Senior A league goals this season, Gillies has scored 17 of them.

Overall Gillies has netted 30 goals in 19 games for the Lilies.

Reserve manager Robbie Back said: “I’ve been tracking Craig for a while. Obviously with Craig being 24 he will fit straight into our young squad set up.

“Craig was being watched by several other clubs.”
