Wisbech young runners impressed at the latest Junior Parkrun.

Anna was run director this week - and after Lee had explained the course and finish procedure to first timers, she presented a half-marathon wristband to Oliver for completing his 11th run a few weeks ago.

Once Curtis had led the warm-up, 21 runners assembled on the start line.

Oliver Edgeley led the way from start to finish, with Stanley Pyatt eventually overcoming Oscar Crawford for second and third respectively.

Mabelle Chadderton was fourth and first for the girls.

Five youngsters from King's Lynn enjoyed themselves, while there were PBs for the aforementioned Stanley and Mabelle - along with her sisters Nellie and Betsy.

Annika Betaine also earned a PB, being well paced by her brother Daniel.

Stanley Whiley was visiting for the first time, and Charlie and Rosie Clarke had their very first junior parkrun.

Half marathon bands were handed out to Oliver and Alex Crawford.
