Hamilton wins Wisbech ‘Becky battle’ by seven seconds

Attendance improved with the weather at the Wisbech Tuesday evening ‘10’, and 20 riders took to the road.

The ‘battle of the Beckys’ continues in the ladies with the tables turned once again in favour of Becky Hamilton who was seven seconds quicker than Becky Murley. Mat McClure was fastest overall with John Talbot second and Andrew Ward taking third.

On Saturday in the EDCA 10-mile championships at King’s Lynn, Stewart Emmett was the best of the Wisbech riders, in front of several seeded competitors.

Next was Phil Lee, followed eight seconds later by Talbot.
