March Town announces another new signing
March Town have also announced the signing of attacking midfielder Flo Tsaguim.
Tsaguim, who played in a handful of games for the Hares last season, arrives from Step 4 Biggleswade Town, where he spent the bulk of last term.
He can also count Stamford, Corby, Royston Town, King's Lynn and Wisbech Town among his former clubs.
Meanwhile, the lights won't be going out at the United Counties League Premier Division South side any time soon, with the club set to replace the existing floodlights at the GER.
The Hares have secured a grant from the Premier League Stadium Fund to carry out the required work at Robingoodfellows Lane.
A statement from the club read: "March Town United is delighted to confirm that we have successfully obtained planning permission from FDC and secured a grant from the Premier League Stadium Fund for the full replacement of our existing and ageing floodlights and stanchions.
"Works are scheduled to be completed over the coming months, and we will share updates as soon as they begin.
"We’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported this project so far, especially Suction Excavation UK and Prestige Pipelaying JV, who played a key role in fundraising efforts last year by participating in a fundraising football match."
The club has also revealed that Kieran Daplyn will remain in charge of the reserve team in Cambs Senior A.
Helping Daplyn in his role will be Scott Goodger as assistant manager and Matt Allen as lead coach.
Ryan Carey will continue as the reserves' goalkeeping coach.
On his appointment, Goodger said: "I am thrilled to be joining Kieran as assistant manager of the March Town Reserves. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fantastic club and a talented group of players.
"I’m excited to work with Kieran and am passionate about helping develop players and ensuring we create a pathway for the younger players to move into men’s football.
"I feel positive about the season ahead and am eager to see what we can achieve together."
Allen added: I’m excited to be joining Kieran and the other guys on the reserves management team.
"When Kieran contacted me regarding the role, it was an easy decision to make, the club are one of the best in the area, so to be part of it meant it was too good an opportunity to turn down."
