March Town on the FA Cup trail, while Parson Drove, Whittlesey Athletic and Wisbech Town in league action
March Town continue on the FA Cup trail tomorrow when they host fellow Step 5 outfit Ipswich Wanderers at the GER.
The Hares, who are currently ninth in the United Counties Premier South after four games, entertain visitors from Suffolk who are seventh in the Thurlow Nunn Premier after three fixtures.
Ash Taylor’s men are undefeated in their opening three home games of the campaign and welcome a Wanderers side who have lost their only game on the road for this Preliminary Round tie.
In the United Counties Premier North, each side has also played four games, and ninth-place Wisbech Town host a Harrowby United team currently 16th. Luke Hipwell’s team have won both home games this season, scoring six goals in the process.
Over in the Thurlow Nunn First Division North, Parson Drove entertain Clacton, with both sides in the bottom six after four games, but Drove on a high after a 4-0 win at Holbeach United in the League Cup on Wednesday evening.
And things don’t get any easier for Whittlesey Athletic, who have lost two of their opening three games, as they travel to play a Holland side who have won three from three this season, netting nine times along the way.
