After a frantic effort to make the pitch playable the game got underway.

St Ives put Wisbech under pressure from the start but the defence were equal to it, however St Ives finally found the net.

St Ives were then awarded a penalty flick, Wisbech keeper Aiden Falcus was confident and the St Ives taker struck the upright.

Wisbech soaked up more attacks until Brodie Ellis found space, hammered the ball in the D and Brandon Ruff got his stick on it for 1-1. From this St Ives reacted more positively and added another before half-time.

Wisbech came out stronger in the second half but it was St Ives who struck again.

It was a battle in the last 15 minutes and had it not been for an organised defence the scoreline could have been much worse.

MoM (four-way tie for all defending players): Ryan Purvey.
